1-start a telnet session to the router
telnet 192.168.1.254
2- You will be asked for your routers username and then password
[Administrator]
3- ip ifconfig intf=Internet mtu=1500
4- saveall

1-start a telnet session to the router

2- You will be asked for your routers username and then password
[Administrator]
3- type menu
4- select IP
5- select <OK> and press enter
6- select ifconfing , then <OK> and press enter
7- from intf select Internet
8- Select MTU , Then change its value
9- you will be directed to the previous menu.
10- back to main menu
11- saveall & exit
Graphical user interface
1- Select “Save or Restore Configuration “
2- Select ” Backup Configuration Now “
3- save the file on desktop
4-1 Open file with Notepad
4-2 Press Ctrl + f and type mtu then find Next
5-1 Change mtu value
5-2 Save and Close , make sure file ext is .ini
6- Restore the file
